I got a super sweet surprise in the mail this week when copies of my latest book, Painting the Psalms, arrived! You can check out the excitement (including Gen’s barking) in the FB Live video I did to show the arrival.)
There are a few moments when you’re working on a book when you really feel happy. First, when you finally finish the manuscript. (After that, you have to usually do edits and that isn’t as fun (ha!) but just knowing the first draft is done is really satisfying.)
Then, when you see your book go up at Amazon and other places for sale.
Then, when you get your books in the mail. Because then it seems “real” since you can hold them and read them and just see the whole thing come together as you had envisioned.
Books usually take a long time to write and plan and put together, so finishing one is really fun and exciting. I adore this book and hope you all check it out and that you love it. I wrote it because I wanted to inspire you and fill you with hope. We all need more hope!
PSST… and if you love the Psalms and want to review the book, here’s some info on how you can do that! As always, I thank you for your support. It means so much to me to be able to make a living doing what I do.
