Some days, I get very frustrated with things that happen in the world. Like many people, I don’t understand the struggles or suffering. It is in those times when one simple sentence lifts my spirits:
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).
It’s as easy as that. Christ did all the hard work for us. He saved us. We are fortunate. I know it’s hard to feel good some days. I know that all too well. But we are so lucky to be born with a choice to follow God. The struggles are difficult, but in the course of an eternal life, they are short. I hope you will join me in trying to remember that more often.
