Today’s post for #21daysinmyartworld is about celebration. Specifically, celebrating something you created or that otherwise came about through your art.
Just the ability to make art has always been a blessing to me. Long before I did this for a job. I felt I was able to connect with God and my emotions through writing and painting that I couldn’t do with other things. š
But as I’ve branched out as a full-time artist, I am thankful for every opportunity that leads to the next. When I started this whole thing, I couldn’t see beyond selling a few prints here and there. I couldn’t imagine galleries and museums carrying my artsy items, selling paintings at exhibits (getting INTO exhibits!), creating ecourses, or even, doing shows. I couldn’t picture any of it, so today, I celebrate all those things. Every little thing is something to be grateful for.
