Welcome to my studio, which is part of today’s #marchmeetthemaker series of prompts. We’re talking #workspace today, and I’ve got a small space that I’m very grateful for!
In my home studio, I use several carts that keep me organized (always a challenge for a mixed-media artist) and have bookshelves with art journals and mugs that hold a variety of paint pens.
My work space has evolved from our kitchen table to a part of a guest room to the small room I have now. I’m grateful for them all, and I firmly believe you should always squeeze in art wherever you can. I bring my sketchbook with me when I’m hanging at the lake and enjoy the peace it gives me to listen to the waves and birds while I draw without expectation.
