Reminder that the 75th Art Annual Exhibit is open now at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay, WI.
The 75th Art Annual exhibit is an all-media, juried exhibition of current artworks produced by artists living in the counties of Northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. A total of 54 artworks by 50 artists were chosen by juror Annemarie Sawkins (Independent Curator and Art Consultant).
This juried art exhibition began in 1942 during the height of World War II. For three-quarters of a century, many of this region’s most celebrated and talented artists have exhibited their work as part of this Green Bay tradition. Several of the selected works in the 75th Art Annual speak to the societal challenges of the past year; from a global pandemic to social injustice. Despite the ongoing uncertainties of life, we hope this body of work will be emotionally inspiring and mentally healing to all who view it in person.
I am thrilled to have my painting, “The Blessing of Work” in this exhibit.
