A flashback Friday memory from last year, where I wrote:
“Working on a mother and child picture tonight and thinking about 2017. It always takes a few days to fully settle in to a new year for me. This year has had many wonderful things happen, and also things that were really hard. Trying to make sense is sometimes the hardest part, because we’re not meant to know the “why” for everything. Times like this are a reminder for me to trust God and keep moving forward.”
This image became my painting, “Always.”
I find that painting is a good way to work through all the ups and downs of life. It helps me push away the world and enter one with hope and happiness, and in doing so I can come back into social media or relationships with a renewed sense of peace.
What do you use to help balance out the joys and sorrows of life?
