Telling your story matters! (In art and in life.) I was reminded of that recently when I saw someone on TV that I instantly liked because of his story. I went right out and bought his product because I wanted to support the things he was doing.
This is lesson for any artist. When you tell people who you are and why you’re doing the kind of art you do, you will find people who want to support your mission, whatever it is.
