Despite my complete lack of gardening skills, I adore flowers. I love going to the farmers market when I can to pick them up, I love getting them as gifts, I love looking at them, admiring them in yards, and just observing them whenever I can.
Recently I stopped in at a garden center in town and just took in all the flowers and shrubs and greenery. I found so much inspiration for my art and poetry. We can get bogged down in all the negativity of the world, ya’ll. It is so easy because there is so much of it. But there is so much beauty in our world. Pay attention to the things that lift your soul.
