We did Art on the Island Sunday for the third year. This is a favorite show of mine because it is really in a beautiful location.
Every year is different with weather. The first year it was very sweaty and hot. Last year it was a bit chilly, and this year?
The word for the day was mud. LOL!
We came home and cleaned our shoes before we dared set foot back in the house.
But what’s a little mud between friends?
I enjoyed chatting with the people there, hearing their stories, and finding out more about what brought them to the park and why they were buying my art. This interaction is the biggest blessing for me.
The location of this show is right on Lake Winnebago, and a gorgeous spot.
Had lots of interest in my Painting the Psalms. This is a book I was so happy to finally write. I love seeing the reactions from people and hear about the things they enjoy about the book. (And don’t forget I’ve got a blog tour happening this month, too!)
I sold lots of totes, prints, tea towels, pouches… you name it. Being able to put my art on functional pieces is important to me. Lots of people want to surround themselves with art in different ways, or just offer someone a unique gift.
And really, who doesn’t need a new tote bag? 🙂
My Devotional Deck was also popular! I’m so proud of this item. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for many years, so to be able to finally offer it for sale is really sweet to me.
