As usual, when I looked through my Instagram posts over the past few weeks, I saw a theme. This time: originality. This is a heavy subject if you really want to get into it. I’ll probably write more about it at some point, because I’m dealing with some unpleasantness in regards to someone who thinks churning out bad copies of my art is acceptable. It isn’t.
I’ve been painting for 50 years. I developed a style that reflects what is in my heart and soul. I use colors and composition to wrap up the message that my art will provide. When I teach classes, I do so to allow people to see new techniques, to let go and have fun, and to develop their own styles. But some people don’t do that. And that is all I will say right now.
