Let’s celebrate hope!
It can be a difficult thing to hold on to. I know this for sure. I have been disappointed by life and people and myself and yet, I am someone that gravitates toward hope. Always. I credit God for this because I don’t think I would do this without Him in my life.
It doesn’t mean I am always a sunny, happy person. Oh, I’m as real as real gets. I am grumpy and have bad habits and make tons of mistakes and… yet, I go back to hope. I feel that God’s presence in my life provides this for me.
I have lots of art that is centered on hope, and some of it came from the poem below. This poem, entitled “Hope,” is also part of my latest collection of poetry, Poiema.
Enjoy this illustrated poem.
