Chasing a dream is not an easy thing to do. When I worked in the corporate world and dreamed of writing and painting all day, I always felt like my dream was so far away I’d never reach it. Every once in a while the hint of that dream would drift my way, but reality would set in with bills and health problems, and I’d have to let my dream float back away so I could focus on what I needed to at that time.
Casting away your dreams for a while can be difficult. But your unique creative gifts were meant to stay with you always. Even if you cast them out on the water, they will follow you along the shore, always watching and waiting for the right moment to come back and remind you of who you were meant to be.
