Each year around this time I proudly put out my Don Featherstone pilgrims and turkey.
We got these at a rummage a few years back and I just love them. Don Featherstone, in case you don’t know, is the guy that created the ORIGINAL pink flamingo.
I love finding art inspiration in unusual places. I used to have eight pink flamingos in my lawn because I liked them so much. Cheesy? Sure, but there is something unique and lovely about them, too. Americana!
