I love having accents of red in the house, no matter what other colors we’ve got going on. I went through a black and white toile phase for a while (like, a decade) and then suddenly I was like color! I need color!
So now I’ve got lots of different colors going on and yet, I wanted more red. Specifically, I wanted a different side table where I could put some magazines and books. At a thrift shop this weekend, look what I found for $10:
Isn’t it cute? I could see this table in red, and red only. And the good thing is, we already had red spray paint left over from our flea market side table we repainted a few months ago. In another side of the room is the dining room table where we recovered the chairs in a pretty red fabric.
The table took the paint very nicely and looks even better with a lamp and some magazines.
