How Do You See Yourself?

I was blown away by this video from Dove. It hit very close to home and I loved what they did with it. Before I go any further, take a look:

I know that had I been in there with these other women, I would have given a description of myself that didn’t match my outward appearance at all. I know that I would have made myself fatter, uglier, plainer, and whatever else I could think of to describe myself more negatively.

Why do we do this ourselves, ladies? Why do we fail to embrace our beauty, inside and out?

Let’s change this. Today. Make a pact with yourself to embrace all the goodness God gave you. All of it. From your nose to your ears to your perfect, perfect heart. Let’s embrace our strength and our talents and know that all of it makes us beautiful.
