It’s been a crazy week, and when I’m feeling stressed I turn to poetry. There’s none better than Emily Dickinson when you need to refocus. Enjoy this poem, “Nature Rarer Uses Yellow.”
Nature rarer uses yellow
Than another hue;
Saves she all of that for sunsets,–
Prodigal of blue,
Spending scarlet like a woman,
Yellow she affords
Only scantly and selectly,
Like a lover’s words.
