I’ve got a very last minute stocking stuffer gift idea for you today. I made up a couple of these this week for the booklovers on my list. Best of all? I used up stuff I had lying around to create them. Don’t we love when that happens?
First, I took a length of ribbon and some charms I had. The charms are from scrapbooking pieces, so I added those round jewelry thingy’s so I could easily attach them to the ribbon.
Then, I ran the ribbon through the long charm, which also had connectors on both ends. This will give the bookmark some weight. Then I attached the other charm to the bottom, and ran the ribbon up through the back of the first charm.
Finally, I put two knots in the upper end of the bookmark. One to secure everything, and another knot farther up to seal it all. You can add charms or even jewelry beads if you’d like. It’s a simple project, but if you have a booklover on your list, they might appreciate this. I know mine will. 🙂

I found this too late for Christmas but think it would be perfect any time of year for a quick but personal gift. I love the charms you chose. The theme makes it extra special.
Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
