We did an early Mother’s Day type of thing at the Boerner Botanical Gardens this weekend and I had to share some photos. It’s such a beautiful grounds and they have lots of different flower exhibits throughout the year. Since it was early, we saw mostly tulips but even those were spectacular. For instance, I had no idea there were varieties of tulips that actually looked like mums or daffodils. Who knew? (Well, you garden people probably knew. Since I cannot grow a thing, this was news to me.)
Mom enjoyed the brunch, too. (Did ya’ll know they have dining there?)
And then, to my total surprise, they had this really lovely display of my artwork. I couldn’t believe it. I knew they were carrying it, obviously, but was pleased to see it displayed like this. How cool.
Their gift shop is really a cool place, so I’m honored to have my art there. I hope you’ll check it out. Here’s more about this wonderful place.
