I have struggled with many issues and God has work

I have struggled with many issues and God has worked me through them. Some of them are deeply rooted, starting with abuse that goes back to when I was a toddler, so it stands to reason that some of them will creep up and rear their ugly heads from time to time. But my issues and the past abuse I received are no match for God. While I may slip from time to time during certain moments and fall into the negative pattern of thinking God doesn’t like me, I also know I can bring this fear to Him and He will love me through it. He will show me how precious I am, as all His children are, to Him.

These negative thoughts are not from God. They are from the enemy. I wish I never experienced them, but at the same time, I am comforted by God’s love. I have finally realized that his love, his plans for us, are so profound I might never be able to wrap my head around it all, and that’s okay. God is in control and I don’t need to know his plans to know that they are beyond my wildest dreams.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” and I love that this also ties to Psalm 40:5. God’s plans are infinite, something we cannot even imagine, and always always good.
