Always Always Always Create – My Instagram Roundup

Each time I look back over my Instagram posts, I see a theme. Not surprisingly, sometimes the common element between all my posts is simply to just create, keep creating, and when things are difficult, find the time to explore your creative gifts. My auntie still says that to me. She’s told me that all my life and she continues to say it each time I feel stressed or happy or sad. Creativity has power.

In Mixed Media Faces, we create four different girl paintings using a variety of pigments. In one of the projects, we're using gelatos combined with aquabord. Both of these are favorites of mine to use and create some interesting textures and colors. ___________ I love gelatos because you can use them dry or with water, put them on with a paintbrush or your fingers, you can use them on different surfaces, and in each case the color effect will vary, which makes it the perfect thing to use for mixed media paintings.
