So often I find inspiration in nature. Seeing the gifts of color and texture that God has created lets me know that He created everything. Every plant, every bird, every color… everything I find inspiring, everything that fills my soul just by being near it. Everything.

Each year around this time I proudly put out my Don Featherstone pilgrims and turkey. We got these at a rummage a few years back and I just love them. Don Featherstone, in case you don’t know, is the guy that created the ORIGINAL pink flamingo.

Since I love the Psalms, I’m finding inspiration in  Psalm 118:24 today: ____________ This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. ____________ I took this picture last night as we were heading home from a long day of work. I am blessed and grateful for this work! It gives me purpose, helps me feel close to God, and allows me to push away the negativity and darkness in the world.
