Of all the Psalms, the 23rd is probably the most popular. We hear it in movies or pop culture, and we might hear it so much that we forget the meaning behind it. It says, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” God is what we need and when we have him, everything is put in perspective. Our list of wants is gone because this life is temporary. We’re here to show love, to help each other, to bring our loved ones to God so we can all have the gift of eternal life everymore.
This painting was created as part of my Painting the Psalms ecourse, where we focus on a Psalm and the meaning behind it as we create beautiful art pieces that reflect the spirit of the Psalms.
