For this painting I wanted to convey the feeling of autumn, of leaves falling and the season changing to one that brings new starts and challenges. In these times, we can feel scared or nervous, but this image shows the smile of someone who goes with the flow of change, and as the leaves and flowers pass over her, she is at peace with whatever the new day brings.
