We tend to complicate life, but Jesus made it clear: love one another.
So why is that so hard to do in this world today? I think it’s because love isn’t passive. Love takes courage, patience. It isn’t about good feelings toward someone when things are easy, but showing love when they are difficult. Sometimes it means standing up, creating boundaries. Other times it simply means listening.
This print contains a verse from 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
I made this print using acrylics, oils, oil pastels, and other ephemera.
