At the Table (Original Painting)
$450.00
This painting centers on a long, welcoming table where people gather in the quiet joy of sharing a meal. The figures are not individually defined, but their presence is unmistakable—seated together in community, connected by the act of being invited and included. Above them, a tree heavy with rich red flowers stretches outward, offering both shade and beauty, while a soft hint of sunlight filters through, suggesting warmth, safety, and divine nearness. The table is abundant, adorned with flowers and food, symbolizing provision, celebration, and belonging.
The image came to me while sitting in church, when I sensed Jesus inviting me to a table where I was fully loved and deeply seen. That moment became the heart of this work. Painted in an abstract yet whimsical style, the scene reflects the vibrancy of God’s love and the truth that every person at the table has been intentionally created. No one is overlooked. Everyone belongs.
I paint from imagination and spiritual reflection, allowing what is unseen to take visual form. My hope is that when someone encounters this piece, they feel an immediate sense of strength and reassurance—that they were created with purpose, that they are valued, and that God’s presence is constant. Even without knowing the story behind it, I want the colors, movement, and spirit of the painting to quietly whisper: You are loved. There is a place for you here.
