I always had the desire to write a kid’s book from one of my favorite family stories. My grandma found a mouse in her house, and to hear her tell it (with her love of cleaning and seeing mouse turds on her pillow one morning!) instantly filled me with an idea for the graphics and message of the book.
I also had the desire to create a family card game for years. And finally, I sat down and wrote out the rules and designed the cards. We test played it over and over until I had it where I wanted it. It’s a game based on baking cupcakes, so finally my love of baking and gaming and art all came together!
