There is a quote I love that has been credited to Martin Luther that says something like: “If I knew the world would end tomorrow, I would still plant a tree today.”
I’m paraphrasing because this gets translated different ways, which also tells me it might be from Luther and it might not be. But you know what? The sentiment is important in an eternal context.
