I hate the cold, especially when the freezing temps drag on for days and days. So this year, I decided to create an ice sculpture wall for inspiration.
I took shoebox-sized plastic containers, filled them with water, added a few drops of food coloring, and left them outside to freeze.
I love the colors that came out with these. Sometimes the cubes froze within a day and sometimes it took a couple days, depending on how cold it was outside.
Soon, I had enough for a wall, and then some.
I’ll be making many more of these, I think! It’s been fun to actually look forward to the cold just because I was able to create something from it.
