Multiverse Piece, Alternate Verses
This post is for #peptober, where I’m sharing a previous version of my painting “Goodness and Mercy Follow Her,” which is currently for sale on my website.This painting started as another version (seen on the right). I liked the idea of doves coming together to form across. I named it after the Bible verse “Wings of Doves.”
Then, I got bored and decided to add to it. I added a coat of purple and some ink and decided to add one of my favorite Psalms, Psalm 23. The entire psalm is on the girls dress, and it was easy to imagine her with closed eyes, praying this verse to bring joy and comfort to her heart.
