One of the favorite things that happens when I do a craft fair is to see how people respond to my art and why. They tell me stories. They ask for prayers. And I joke that until someone cries, it just hasn’t been a complete day!
A while back there was a woman who had two prints in her hand. She kept saying she loved one of them more, but the other one for some reason kept making her cry. She’d look at it, read the words from Song of Solomon 1:15: (Behold, you are beautiful, my love) and her tears would flow. She ended up getting the one that made her cry.
Tears aren’t always a bad thing. I think they are cleansing for us, a way for the heavy memories of our lives to get washed away and replaced with lighter, more loving moments.
