Here’s a flashback to my “Show Me Your Face” painting in progress.
I loved working with this odd size canvas (15×30) and the variety of media I used: oil sticks, acrylics, inks, and maps.
This image was inspired from a favorite verse in Song of Solomon, which says:
“My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”
