I started a new series recently of small (8×8) paintings that included mixed media girls with poetry and flowers and lots of color and expression.
Each painting has their own vibe and expression, although I kind of like them as a set, don’t you?

Softly a Deep Breath Released Her Worries
I love the pink flowers in this one. For me, her expression says everything.
She Was a Woman Who Loved God
This smirk really makes me happy on this painting, but I also like the detail of the lace with ink on the side.
Sharp Eyes Smiling at Dreams Awakened
For me, the eyes said everything on this painting. I love her bright expression, where she is completely awake at what lies next for her.
Gentle Eyes Most Dear
In this painting, all I could see was that sweet expression. This is a gal who would look at you as a friend.
