I’m a firm believer that every day you get to rise and do even the most ordinary things (like laundry and making dinner) is a blessing.
We can become complacent with blessings the more days we spend on this earth, but we need to remember that there is someone out there who wishes they could simply get up and make a meal for their family, and can’t.
My grandma was someone that had a sense of pride when accomplishing chores like cleaning or cooking, and this has stayed with me.
