World Cancer Day was yesterday.
It came the day after I lost a friend of 20 years yesterday to cancer. I am sad for the way he was taken from us. Sad for his loved ones. Sad that this disease exists. It also reminds me to spend time with the ones who truly love you, who make an effort, who show up. Facebook isn’t real. Spending time together is.
