Poems don’t need to be long or complicated. I’ve never believed that art of any type needs to be stuffy or high-brow. My art has always been with a simple voice, whether it is poetry or art.
This poem is one that is especially meaningful to me. We must support each other as women. We must stop judging and probing to find out things about another woman that make us feel superior. Stop judging physical appearance, whether someone has children or not, or how someone makes a living. Get to know women, each woman, rather than listening to gossip.
