What inspires you? That is one of the most common questions I get asked.
The real answer is everything. I’m always inspired. But more than that, I look for the beauty and color and life in things and that is what inspires me.
Going outside, listening to the birds, hearing kids play or dogs bark, seeing the different varieties of flowers… it’s all inspiring. As I mention in my Mixed Media Faces class, I also look at people, their faces, their skin tones, and the variety in their features and attitudes and ways of speaking. I find inspiration in all that God creates, whether it is a flower or bird or another person.
