Roots, the Growth from Within
Wausau Center for the Visual Arts
Here’s the concept for this exhibit:
An artist’s artistic, geographic, and cultural roots play significant roles in their artistic process and statement. The exhibit highlights original fine art inspired by an artist’s perspective of their “roots” and artistic journey.
I so agree that everything we do as an artist helps define us and our creative output. My painting “She Loved Art and Poetry” is part of this exhibit. But hurry! It only goes through September 16th.
September 1 – November 11th – Little Tiny Show
Pink Llama Gallery, Cedarburg
What a fun show! I love this gallery so much, so I was honored to be in there and it was such a kick to see each artist’s take on the concept of a “tiny original painting.” Here’s more about what I entered, and remember this exhibit only goes through November 11th.
Artrageous Birds, Whitewater Arts Alliance
September 6-30th
I entered my most favorite birdie paintings in this one! As we were setting up, I got a chance to look at some of the other paintings and I was really thrilled by the variety in photographs, paintings, and again, each artist’s take on things.
