I have been dreaming of tree girls who stand up to the seasons of life and of beautiful, confident women who help us realize our potential. I picture these beauties, sort of like dream-catchers, with flowing lace and colorful material to make up their dress, and a thought look to remind you to always keep reaching for the life you want.
I’ve been thinking about dreams and how precious they are. So hard to reach, yet so easy to give up on. People even get angry about your dreams. They don’t understand them.
But then there are the ones that reach out… tell you something that makes you smile to yourself and realize this is why you do it. Dreams are important in our life. I think we need to align our desires, our dreams, with what God wants for our life. When we are working the way he wants, our lives have the power to shine with a brilliance we can’t manufacture on our own.
So I created these mixed media dream girls, which I had such fun doing. They are colorful and filled with hope and promise. I hope you will agree that they would look perfect hanging in your office or bedroom.
