I had a booth at Holland Fest again this year and it was an absolutely beautiful day. You couldn’t have asked for better weather and the people are always so sweet and lovely there. It’s been a good show for me to display and sell my work.
Our booth was a little different compared with last year in that we brought more tables and none of the wire shelves we used the year before. This was a way better set up because it gave people access to the prints and also allowed us to display things much better.
Here’s the booth. Blue, of course! Would you expect any less from me?
One new thing was I finally got a sign for my booth (pardon the glare on the picture).
I sell mostly prints and cards and artsy things, but of course I always bring a few of my books, too.
I’m loving how the magazine racks work for this purpose. (Remember how they started out?) I like how the bird cages and boxes add interest, too. All of those details are so important when selling at fairs like this.
A framed picture shows what the prints look like in a frame, plus more cards and magnetic pictures you can put on the fridge or in a locker.
A couple of my whimsical animals.
Everyone has a favorite verse and many people ask me if I carry certain passages on prints. I always pay attention and enjoy learning about what you all like in your art and poetry.
