My little pup usually sits right by my side when I’m painting, so it’s no wonder she has managed to find her way into my art recently.
I mean, seriously, who could resist this face?
I like making whimsical dogs but when I look at them I see my dog’s influence there, too. In this painting, I included the words “just as I am” which became the title of the print as well. That phrase is so what our dogs are about! They love us just as we are, and what a blessing that is!

There’s this one, called “Joyful Doggie,” which kind of reminds of my dog’s eyes when she begs (which she does quite often, spoiled poochie!)

This one is a new favorite of mine, called “Loyal Friend.” It’s so true! My dog is such a good companion for me, especially on those days when I’m working for hours alone at the computer.

This print was a complete change from my usual work. Different colors and style… I’m not sure why I decided to put all of it together this way but I’m sure my dog has something to do with it!

I just love that happy face!
One of the new favorites I did was this one called “Into My Heart,” which really is what happens when you let a dog come into your life. They become part of your family.
