I’m still on the Proverbs this week, still thinking about wisdom. Last week I pondered Proverbs 2:10: “For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.” This week I’m thinking about Proverbs 2:2, which says “…turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding.” You know, in many ways I feel so much wiser than I did back in the day. I look back at my 20-year old self and just want to whisper in her ear all the things I know today. But then again, would I know the same things? Probably not.
I thought about this quote as I did my painting this week. I got a new set of stamps and it was fun to use them for this picture.
Like it? It’s for sale in my Etsy store.

I love the Proverbs theme you’ve taken up lately. So much wisdom there. Lovely rendition on “turn your ear …”

It’s funny how a theme will stick from week to week. I’ve been thinking a lot about wisdom, and you’re right, lots of great stuff in Proverbs.
