One of the most common complaints I hear about Twitter from people is that it’s “useless.” I’m always curious when I hear this as to how someone determined that. Did they look at their website hits? See how many times they got retweeted? There are a number of ways to determine if Twitter is a good resource for you, and a lot depends on your goals.
Most writers I know want more people to buy their books. In order to get people to notice you, you have to get your name out there. Twitter is one way to do that. Want more traffic to your website? Twitter is one way to do that as well.
