I love cooking for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is that it really makes my family happy. I love to cook things that my hubby loves, and see the enjoyment on his face when he knows I made something just for him.
On larger holidays when we have family here, I like to see the interaction happen during dinner. People really do get talking and the atmosphere is better when a good meal is being shared.
So it should come as no surprise that this quote was interesting to me:

It’s more than just eating good food. It’s about an environment where people feel cared for and want to share. A good meal, and time taken to share it, can change the way you see the world on a daily basis.
