A while back I was approached by the authors of a new book called What to Do When No One Has a Clue: Advice for the Brave New World. I loved the idea of this book! It provides answers for all those sticky situations where you aren’t sure what to say or do, and gives a modern twist to etiquette today.
I answered the question, “Is is okay to blog about the person you are dating?” I won’t reveal my answer, you’ll just have to get the book (which releases May 11, 2010) to see it for yourself.
Another cool factor is how many celebs are in the book. Internet pioneer Arianna Huffington (founder of the Huffington Post), designer Badgley Mischka, Rick Bayless (winner of Top Chef Masters) Anita Lo (Top Chef Masters contestant) and Pepper Schwartz, PhdD (who started the Internet dating site Perfect Match.com.) Perhaps my two favorites in the book are Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel (I’m a true Real Housewives of New York City fan!)
Even better, my question and answer falls on the very same page as Patti Stanger, who I absolutely love in the Millionaire Matchmaker!
It was all great fun so I thank authors Stephanie Pierson and Barbara Harrison for inviting me to take part!

Thanks, Michelle! I think so too. It’s a fun book, so I hope it gets some positive attention.

Cherie, I’m so glad you like our book — and that you’re happy to be “rubbing shoulders” with Patti Stanger on the same page. Have you see the book video on YouTube? We shot it on the streets of NYC and it gives a fast, funny intro to “What to Do When No One Has a Clue.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihnwfFx-P4Y
